It has truly been a struggle, but I confess a few things helped along the way; several older (not in human years) players have given me advice for how to make HB's, and I have tried to follow their advice.. I have some short term goals (consolidating my two accounts in July) and long term goals (trying to build a herd of pretty horses)
and I'm hoping that the show herd I have is now big enough to keep me in the green, so to speak.

While I'm talking here, I wanted to say that in the beginning, I had a lot of hands reaching to me, giving me gifts and advice, and honestly that's part of why I stayed. I try to be generous to others here, for example; by selling things a little cheaper, not outbidding everyone on the auction, and look out on Forest, because when the month is done, I will be gifting, as it is just too hard for me to maintain a reasonable presence in 2 places.
