What were you selling, if they were poor quality or didn't pass strict breeding advice people probably yummed them. I'd probably do that if that was the case although I haven't bought any of yours

Are you selling for less than 2500? People will always buy and sell to the auction in that case. You can get 2500 in the auction.

If they are up for public sale you can't really stop people buying them and doing what they want with them

Were they intact horses, or the spays/gelds? The only thing I can think of is that being that most aren't papered or PT tested they might have tested too low to be useful to the buyer??

If new players they may not know they can put horses in the public auction rather than sell back to the game
