Does anyone else just want to spoil their giftee? :) I mean like... get obsessed to the point of wanting to give their best horses away? And planning projects for them and then realizing there is no way they can afford it?

Or is it just me who has this weird obsession :D

The gift exchange has completely drained my funds, Ammit, and I am loving it! I'm so glad we have a gift exchange! :P
Attempting to (and hopefully succeeding) in spoiling my giftee has been the best :)

Anyone else feel this too?

Me too! This was my first time doing the exchange so I'm just on level 1, but it feels like it could easily be level 3. Everyone here is so generous! I worried for a bit that I wouldn't be able to keep up, I hope I managed it. :)

I had so much fun finding gifts, and my gifter spoiled me ridiculously as well. This is my first time participating but I definitely will be doing it again at Christmas, in fact I will probably start stashing GMTs away now to be prepared LOL

@CLynnRose I know how that feels- second time for me, so Level 2, and I can't believe how generous my gifter has been! It's so much fun though, you're right, everyone is so generous :)

I spent 4000 IVs... a little on some GMTs for me but mostly on GMTing gifts :-)

I start saving IVs right when gift exchange ends.

I know that feeling oh so well. I can't buy too many fancy horses with my limited licenses, but I've had a great time stalking the Herd Helpers thread. I can be more sparing with myself.
My giver has definitely gone above and beyond, and that makes me feel uncomfortable. Why the varied attitude, I don't know.

I do the 1st level, and 3rd level. I have the hbs and an established barn so I can save the IVs. I like to be able to give someone the opportunity to have more fun with a few of their dream horses. I can't always spend much with real life money so I make sure to save. I still splurge on me, I have a couple projects I did for myself.

I always hope that I made my giftee smile or enjoy the game as much as I do.

I do the 1st and second level ; am Pretty established and I enjoy being able to spoil the newer players who cant get that "dream horse" becuase they are not quite financially where they need to be. I always make sure my list is something level 1 or 2 can do without ging above board unless they are able to. Never feel guilty, you gift what you can ; and enjoy the generosity of the commmunity !

I always enjoy spoiling my giftee(s) and the community definitely helps with doing so. Even at level 1 & 2 I tried to get the wishlist dream horse even if it required RLM, because it’s a passing it on thing for me, when I wasn’t able to afford to spend money to get genes one of my gifters got me onyx on a foundation boy for me. And that excitement and joy that I had opening his page and see that is something I want to pass to others in this community.

I always feel that I haven't done enough, even though I try to source as many things as I can for my Giftee. I am now in a position to spend real money and this is the second time I have done Level 3. I was shocked at how much money I have spent (you're welcome Ammit!) but my justification is that someone else is probably spending more than they realise on me. :) The generosity of other players is also heart warming. Unable to find specific horses in the sales or for auction, I reached out to other players asking if they were willing to sell me their wonderful breeding horses, convinced that nobody would want to part with such lovely pixel ponies, I was wrong and many were happy to oblige. This game has the most wonderful community of helpful and generous players and the Gift Exchanges are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to expressing the sentiment. Long may we continue! :x

@miamoo yes, i did my first one last Christmas and had a blast. My gifter spoiled me beyind belief, so I did it this year.

I tried so hard finding gifts for my level 2 giftee since they were so specific

@starstruck. I am so sorry that i didnt give you half of what i wanted! Lol. Im so glad you enjoyed it. Giving time still continues!

I've got a few horses that were, oooh, yeah, get this one for her, then the next day ooo here's a better one, and then ooo...

And my gifter, Mensie, all I can say is summed up in one word: WOW!

I’ve easily spent $10mill+ on my Level 3! But my stable is pretty established and I have been saving IVs and GMTs for ages. :)
