After a long, long hiatus I've found my way back to this lovely community. A lot has changed, and I'd love to see some of the horses that you all are proud of!

New genes can be new to you, or new to the site. It's always a pleasure seeing people's projects, and it's exciting to learn what folks are breeding for these days, so consider this an open invitation to share!

I'm very interested in Platinum, so here's a little shoutout to @AmethystStables with this stunning mare I came across while searching for inspiration.

Welcome back! There are a ton of new genes. I've been here about 2 years ago you really must have been gone a while!

Here's my platinum herd sires. My drafts have their own pastures full of champagne / cream / dun ladies. The Warmblood gentleman is not complete yet :)

This lovely lady is a gift from @oatsman, as well as her lovely boyfriend Nokken.

I've also got a brand new grey draft line as well. I've got a few foals out of them already.

This guy is my newest addition to the grey lines.

Now if you've been gone a really long time, you may have missed out on the ink spot/toner genes, which I love! I have a rather large foundation herd.

This mare is my newest addition. I love the ice with the ink / toner.

There is also dun factor promotor. My main liver herd is liver mixed with liver dun (and dun factor promoter). I actually have way too many of these guys and it makes it hard to search for lol. Here are some examples.

@ChateauAlbere the way his inverted spots are beginning to merge together is so cool with that lacy fringe around them they look like a painting. I look forward to seeing what his offspring turn out to be like :D

@KhaosAcres ah, you were one of my big inspirations back in the day, looks like nothing has changed in that regard, those dark dapples are truly stunning. It's interesting seeing the gradient effect pangare + has on different coat colours. :x your cherry drops were such a fun project!

@annismyrph onyx is one of my favs! it looks so cool on that foal with the patches, almost like an optical illusion. Seeing it combined with those light dun bases it looks like sand dunes in the desert, very pretty colours :)

@bluchrystals those teeny tiny collectibles are adorable :x it's amazing seeing how tiny they can be. you still have such beautiful lines, I remember those dark DP beauties! Your platinum boy is so gorgeous, those dapples contrasting the bright patches are something else.

@MackZ what a fine collection of amazing fantasy horses :-O You have such a variety and all of them are so unique and pretty. Love all of the combos with nexus, phantom, and ice, plus the kitm.

@Cherobird Thank you so much for the welcome :x I must have just missed you, I was last online around 3 years ago (going by the ages of my few remaining 30+ horses from the old days). Your platinum boys are so pretty, those layers of soft light, shimmery colours. So excited about the revamps of grey and tobiano, your colt is so pretty with the satin and white patches.

Ink spot and toner are new to me! Your foundations look like watercolour paintings! I have the old watercolour gene, and am definitely looking forward to the new ones coming around when I have the budget. Your Dun Factor promoter line has such a unique patchy look with all of their different genes.

@Corvus Platinum Jubilee is a stunner, so many genes, I'm sure he'll have some beautiful foals! And Lady of the Lake is lovely as well, it'll be interesting to see how she greys as she ages :)

Wow I really love seeing everyone's projects when they share em, so many pretty ponies! :D

@heartwood thank you for the compliments! The tobiano update was SPECTACULAR. Oatsman and I were super excited for it. I had a ton of tobi ponies added to my lines after that. I love how the game is always changing. Grey is my favorite color on real life horses, so I was also super stoked for the recent grey update as well, as you can probably tell bahaha.

I was definitely going for super light colors on the platinum spectrum. I love everyone's dark platinum ponies, but I wanted something a little different since my largest herd is rather dark, being liver based. Sadly platinum needs to be hom in order to show, so I won't have results until my 3rd gen, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I'm itching to start breeding my pastures as soon as possible hehe.

My ink and toner herd just had watercolor and nacre added, which I himmed and hawed about for ages! Sadly you just missed the June gift exchange, but the one in December will have all the genes up for grabs again. You can definitely start an ink and toner herd then if you wanted! I'm too impatient for the monthly gene sales, so I do a lot of my foundation creation during the exchanges.
Some of my rainbow ponies also have DFP1/2 mixed in as well ;) I'm a bit obsessed with that gene combo lol! I probably have more dun ponies than anything else at this point lol!

I can't wait to see what you decide to pursue in the future :) do you have any ideas? I can definitely send some straws if you can use them, to get started! I have two posts on the forum for straws and eggs if you want to look, no charge :x

@OscarWildin The new DFPs are so pretty, that dark pigmentation along the back is so rich and striking. Love the contrast on Hyperion, from the DFP darkening to the soft light coat and kitm spots. He's gorgeous!

@Starstruck2 Puddles and Midnight are two I haven't seen a lot of so far, thank you for sharing :-O There are so many new beautiful phantom genes out now, I love that there's a whole calendar of them. Yours with their heavy white background are so pretty and flashy! And the subtle sheen of midnight is lovely, almost like opals. I didn't actually realize until seeing Artic Cinderella that the base colour varied depending on the coat of the horse!

@Golden Love the combination of roses and bouquet on your first horse, how lovely with that shimmery satin background! Your combinations of phantom and ice are so special. Cherry Cola has to be my fav though, absolutely stunning! Platinum and chocolate together is something I hadn't considered before. :x

@Cherobird It really is something special to see the care and dedication put into updating this game! So many genes have gotten updates in past years it really keeps things feeling dynamic and full of life :x The new gray is so exciting, those lovely dapples and the soft gradient on hyperpigmentation... brilliant.

Your light platinums are definitely making me reconsider what to breed for when I pick up that gene in the future! Maybe I'll have to sneak some cream into those lines, haha ;) It's always really interesting seeing how people have such unique breeding projects, it's fun discovering the less common combinations that really appeal to you! I can't wait to see what your 3Gs look like, recessive genes require so much patience, haha! (I say as though I didn't just splurge on a mushroom chimera stud :)))

Now your rainbow herd can have all of the pretty colours :D I know, I can't believe I just missed most of the June events, but sea ponies this month are still a treat! It's kind of exciting when stuff you want pops up in RGS, but also difficult if you're waiting for multiple genes before a horse ages up. I'll have to snoop around your barns to admire your horses a bit more. Doing random horse searches is always an inspiration.

Thank you for chatting, it's really nice to be able to hear what brings you excitement, and seeing other people's projects is always really interesting. That's such a generous offer, I'll have to check it out! I have this stud I just splurged on, so hopefully will be rebooting my old dark bay mushroom lines! I'm also really interested in platinum, which I'll probably be mingling into the herd at some point since I got my days confused and missed buying it yesterday :)) As for what else, who knows!

I am obsessed with the new Platinum gene and my gifter, @cinnabae went absolutely above and beyond my expectations with my THREE new foundation mares! And I made the stud to start a new pasture line :x The stud just needs a copy of S+ and he will be ready to go on the 5th!

@HayesStable oh, they are really so gorgeous, how lucky! The bay looks almost black with your stud's hyperpigmentaion! So many pretty platinums, and it looks really cool with the watercolour too. It's interesting seeing all of the subtle variations in shade that it creates on different bases :)

@annismyrph Aw thank you! Right now I don't have an actual fancy stud of age, just a basic Rank Special boy (I'm trying to refill all of my show barns before I get too much into breeding so I don't make myself broke :))) But I appreciate the offer very much!
