That depends on why it was sold, and why you bought it back. The sales needs to be above board and with little expectation of profit, and you can't sell it so someone with an upgrade can use upgraded game features/tests then sell it back to you

As long as the owner agrees I think it’s allowed, as confluence said it’s only not allowed to sell a horse for the benefit of upgraded features

No, we ask people not to do leases. It is not against the rules but it is frowned on because it is such a bad idea. There is so many things that could go wrong and the game is just not equipped to handle that. We have straight up had instances where people have accidentally sold or accidentally altered "leased" horses. We have had people leave the game with a lease horse in their account because of circumstances beyond their control.

If you are going to do it sell the horse for 100% of the full value of the horse and then buy it back for that minus the lease price. Expect that you WILL lose the horse and we won't help you get it back. It is just all-around a terrible idea to do leasing. But not against the rules.
