it might have to do with how many points your account has.. If you're holding more than 40k points in horses, you probably can't make them any more. (Sniff)

Can you not create horses at all? Or are they being created just not with points? I know there's a 250 per day create limit in place now. I sadly hit it last night, but it's reset and allowing me to create horses again today. I'm not sure if that's permanent or in place just during the sea pony event.

I can create horses, but with no points. I even sold everything last month and still cannot create horses with points.

Its frustrating, because I am not really gaining daily points. I transferred a couple of horses from the one acct so I can gain a little bit of points daily. (if that made sense )

There's a new rule that if you have horses over a certain amount of points live in the game, you cannot create pointed creates. (Each account is separate in this). It was created to curtail people keeping accounts around to make millions selling pointed creates. It was really out of hand, people could make a fortune on pointed creates and then just funnel it indefinitely into their other accounts. Unfortunately I can't remember the details exactly since all my accounts are past the pointed creates stage

I think the stats that you copied and pasted don't show you how many points you've created total, including those on horses you've sold to other players. You need to look at this link for that, and if it's over 100k points, you can't make pointed creates anymore:

@Fiddler, Yep, and I was just getting going! I often like to spend an evening creating 1,000+ horses, just to hit the lottery a few times, pick out the DP carriers, and then auction the rest. I don't do it every day, but I hope the limit isn't permanent so that I can still do that now and then.

So help me understand. So, after you reach 250 points, thats it? Im not talking daily. Im talking forever?

Because after the pointed creates started, Im not getting ANY points, even when I had 4 horses with 62 daily points total with all 4 horses

I know people create and sell or transfer, and yes I did a little of that, but it wasnt really about the points for me.

I did that to help organize the gift exchanges and transfer horses between accts that fit either accts breeding program better.

Like I said, Im not complaining really. Just want to know why this acct stopped creating pointeds period after that went into production

No, not 250 points. The points cap is 60k points currently held by your account OR 100k points created in total by your account. This is a living cap so as pointed horses created by you die off, then the total created by you will go down and could possibly go below the cap, allowing you to create pointed creates again.

The 250 per day creates cap is different. That has nothing to do with pointed creates, it's just a daily cap on how many horses you can create on the create a horse page.

@MackZ, I was doing it specifically to hunt for DP carriers, and sometimes silver blacks/bays, especially during Appy Hour and other create events. I would activate as many hom sooty and other HHs as I could find and when they ran out, just keep creating regular creates until I had filled up a barn or ran out of hbs. I just loved the gamble of it, seeing what I could get. That's also actually why I have always bred C/Yellow foundation lines in the past, because I could go on huge create sprees to find DP mares to fill my pastures. That and my favorite RSs are also perfect foundations, not exceptional. ExPer/Pro mares with DP are always so expensive, so I've just stayed away from B/Red lines. At the price they go for, I'd rather be selling than buying. But with this new cap, I might start rethinking that when I start my next line.
