It's just because of the July sea pony event. Most players are creating horses like crazy and auctioning off most of the ones that aren't sea ponies. Ammit said that there aren't usually that many horses in the auction, but we kept crashing it with 15,000+ in every auction, so she had to cap it so that it would run.

I wish people were capped on the number of horses they could create when trying for the sea ponies.

:)) all of my barns were empty after I returned from hiatus, so filling them back up with show ponies ate through a lot of creates. Still only hit the limit once and it was on purpose out of curiosity. But I know some people are really into making random creates for a chance at fun genes/sea ponies/etc :) (Me included, I just prefer herd helpers and lack barn space)

I just gave up on the sea ponies. If I get one I get one. It was not sustainable for me, my budget, or barns. Then with the auction crashing, nah, what will be will be.

I'm still trying to catch up on barn space and I keep hitting the auction cap LOL. Taking a break from sea pony fishing to focus on breeding and sorting

I never was one to chase sea ponies. What I get is what I get. I just wish players would recognize that the impact of their actions have consequences for others. People churned for foals, and now we have pasture caps even though I always bred pastures once every season, and the list goes on. *sigh*

There might be room in the auction _now_, but by the time I get home from work and have time to sit down and do some breeding, I'm betting the auction is full, and how does that help me?

Oh no. I was wondering why all my auction horses were still there and I couldn’t enter.

I’ve got a huge backup now and I haven’t even been creating. Now I can’t create because I have a backlog that I can’t auction :(
