Have to be appaloosa to have snowflake one copy of lp should do it

And does it need to be Hom to show, and does it need to be Hom appaloosa?

So the horse above is hom appy, and hom snow, but no patn1. Is that what I want to get the snowflakes to look like the above? And I don't understand the term "appy being thrown". Showing or not showing? I prefer no visible appy, just the snow like the horse above. Gonna use up those gift gmts. And some horses I have the spots are tiny, a couple are more like this one. How do you control how spotty it is?

I've got lots of Appys, and Some Hom snows that don't have appy, if I breed a hom snow to a hom appy, will I get a snow that shows?

*Sigh* I added App to two of the horses that had snow/snow and they pretty much now look like leopard appaloosa's. You can't see any snowflakes because the app is so extensive. I tried to remove the patn but I guess the parents must have been hom. Is there anything I can do about that?

If both sets of parents are HOM PATN1 you can't remove them ; if any are Het PATN1 you can remove a copy ; you need to check the parent genes to figure this out

The first horse is Het for Lp ; the second is HOM Lp
