I've been thinking for a while about changing my username to something that sounds more like a farm name. I'd love some help!

I'd like to keep my name kind of in the realm of literary figures/book references/etc (I've been considering WildewoodFarm, just to keep the Oscar Wilde reference, and my alt is TransylvaniaStables, which I love and have considered eating that account with this one and taking that name), but I want some fresh ideas.

I love gothic fiction and Lovecraftian aesthetics. Vaguely spooky is excellent. Crystals, the occult, and cryptids are also in the direction I'm leaning.

I'm offering up straws from my lined boys for every contestant. I have silver black chinchillas, livers, DP chocolate palominos, and some other random things mixed in. If I pick someone's suggestion, you can either have some extra straws or a foal from this year's 3rd gen crop. I don't currently have any breeding-age foundation studs, but I do have a project stud who will be breeding next season, so possibly a straw from him is on the table too!

A straw from either of these boys would be nice, but I'm also happy just to share!

I'm super into these! I'm going to leave it for a bit longer just to get some more creative juices flowing, but I'm so glad I asked because these ideas are awesome.

@Heartwood I haven't been able to get away from the name Witchwater - I just need to figure out if Witchwater Acres, Farm, or Stables sounds best :))

Are you interested in a 3rd gen foal, or would you be able to accept a straw from this boy?

I'll cast a vote for Witchwater Acres, because it calls to mind a farm with a stream running through a dark evergreen forest and across the pastures filled with horses.

@OscarWildin Ooh Witchwater was one of my favorites, I'm glad it caught your eye :D I tend to agree with SandyCreek, Acres seems to roll off the tongue more easily.

As much as I would love a straw from Hyperion, he's gorgeous :x, I don't have DFP2 license yet, so it'll be a foal for me :)

Ah, what a pity. What do you breed for? My hom DP line is thriving better than my chinchilla line right now, and I've got cream and pearl mixed into it as well.

I'm always happy to get some new blood in my barns. I'm also aiming for hom DP, so that sounds perfect. Also recently been working on some chinchilla and chocolate foundations, so anything similar to that would be nice as well, whatever's best for you. Thank you so much for sharing!
