    So I created my autumn arrival and he doesn’t have the flowers on his leg why is this

    Because even though the herd helper and the leaf accessory were for the first day of Autumn (September 21st), your guy was created on the 22nd, and therefore he missed out on the little leaf accessory. And it wasn't just the special horses who got the leaves, any horse created on the 21st got them.
