Have that amazingly special foal that you just wish could have gotten better results? For 5 GMT you can now make any lined horse you own have the maximum possible showing and breeding ability. They won't be better than you can get from random luck but they will be the maximum you could have gotten.

I would advise if you wish to also boost to do so AFTER maxing out ability.

Hi Ammit,

If I understood well it is a sort of 'boost' to the maximum 'natural' abilty of a horse.
As far as showing is concerned it means PT, am i right ?

If two horses can produce a foal with 95 to 108 ability it will make the ability of that foal 108. PT is not the same as raw showing ability. PT might increase but that is not a guarantee. Other factors like consistency also factor in.

Yup! It is a much better move than boosting them. (Though not guaranteed they will pass from just this.)

Kind of the same question as Fiddler, does it change paper level?

Say I have a 2nd gen foal born from B/Red parents and the foal is 1-2% below papering A/Blue, would this bump them up to the A/Blue level without using a Boost token?

I just played with it on Mesa and my horses went from blue to gold. I’m guessing it depends on whether the dam/sire combo could produce a foal with a higher paper level or not.

My girl was aga her dam before and was superior after the MoA.

NightingHay this little girl did not pass SBA before and was red. Now she's blue! and passed SBA!

Yes here is my girl. She would have failed testing as she was worse than parents and was Blue papered.
She is now supirior and gold papered.

How much ability increase should be expected from foals out of fully pasture boosted mares? I mean, how much wiggle room is left after that?

This is awesome!

And anecdotally, this guy was from a pasture mare with a full 30 days bonus and still went from B to A and AGA to Superior.

@clynnrose, I'm sure you will be thrilled. But don't use it on your BEST foals, use it on that one that you just wish was a little better....

Been wanting to boost this guy since he was born, but I knew it wouldn't help much. He went from B to A and passed SBA!

Can there be a quick edit link on the horse's control panel in case the horse we want to max out isn't listed in the drop down menu?

I'm picturing already that this new feature is going to completely revolutionize my breeding strategy. I might give up pasture breeding for breeders, use that just to produce 2G showers, and only keep about ten breeding horses per generation, and just max out every foal that inherits the colors I want. I used to do the opposite, pasture breed with full 30-day boost, keep only the ones with the best breeding ability, and GMT on any colors they might have missed. I almost never culled for color if the breeding ability was good, especially in higher generations.

CLynnRose add spaces in front of the name. Also I would not use that strategy as you will destroy your show herd doing that. You need the numbers.

ichigo probably won't change much as you can't get anything with this you could not get with large numbers before. I also have intentionally prohibitively priced it but made it available with game cash to help mitigate overuse. With all the testing you have available most people's benchmark studs are already max breeding ability.

getting the message "Cannot update the ability of this horse again" for a couple colts I tried it with, they haven't been maxed or boosted or anything before. Am I missing something? :))

Oh I love this, thank you Ammit!! Obviously I'd still need to boost anything I wanted to be above max possible, but this is an awesome feature for special foals that don't get the breeding quality. Another thing to spend my gmt's on lol!!

@SilverCreekFarm yes. It won't charge you if the horse is already perfect. As you can see it isn't that rare to get. Hense why I am not that worried about the LB.

Is there any way the spays and geldings can be left off the drop down list? What do I need to put in front of the horses name to get them first on the list. I tried some numbers but they still didn't come up in the drop down

Just put a space. I am not removing altered horses because this is also used for show horses/ptt unaltering etc.
