What should I do?
  • I am at a loss on what to do here. On 8/1 someone posted that they wanted the sun and star runes for their horse. On 8/6 I put them on it. Yesterday, I sent a message saying I put the genes on their horse, thinking that they forgot about their post. Today they replied with a totally off the wall question in response. I have since replied back, but they have still not sent payment for the genes.

    I dont want to demand payment, since this is supposed to be a fun game, however, I dont like being taken advantage of especially with IRL cash. And it makes me not want to help out anymore. I really dont want to feel that way

    @Ammit, If possible, can you remove the genes from their horse and place them on one mine?

  • I always get nervous about this when I buy genes, personally I think it's rude to go over 24 hours without paying. It's not that hard to check in and see if someone fulfilled the request.

    The worst part besides people losing money is that if this happens too often people will lose the ability to buy these genes for HBs and that would be a shame for a lot of people.

  • I have never had issue until now. Im on limited budget so I hate just "throwing" away irl money. Maybe this person has a habit of that, hence why the reuest was not filled. Usually people jump on it.

    Hopefully Ammit can reverse all the horses they bred and shoot me the genes, even though I already have the licenses

    But yeah, people will stop doing that, and in this experience, probably will never again, unless it is someone I know for sure that will honor the agreement

    It is always best to look for a simple explanation before jumping to thinking something is malicious.

    To be honest probably an apology. This post was not kind. You jumped to publicly calling them out and accusing them of taking advantage a full hour before you even contacted them to remind them of the payment.

    We all have off days/weeks. It happens to everyone. I am sure with an apology all will be smoothed over. This was obviously just an innocent misunderstanding. :)
