This art contest will close at the end of the month.

Want to create some art for the game? I am holding a contest for the best new fall themed background images.

::RULES::
You must post below with an image that is exactly 500 X 333 pixels and .png format.
It must compliment the art style of the game.
It must be digitally painted/drawn by you. Absolutely NO photo manipulation.
Make sure horses look correct on this background, if they look strange floating awkwardly I won't use it.
You must be the sole creator of the art work.
No copying any copyrighted designs. Create something unique.
I will select as many or as few winners from both servers as I want to use on the site.
Only fall themed creations will be accepted.

Winners will each get one copy of a new RAINBOW RIOT gene.

Those are so neat. I have scenes in my mind, but I just don't know how to use a graphic editing program to participate.

Doing the apple tree in this one made me think how nice it would be to have a fruit blossom backdrop for springtime.

Usually about seven hours over a couple days. Quite a bit of that time at the end is just spent trying different things and tweaking it, sometimes putting it back the way it was by the time I'm finished.

I am always frustrated with computers, including the LIMs system I use at work, don't know how you guys do it.

@veetiepony1, I did five of the backdrops that we have in the game now: the three Halloween backdrops, Crystal Forest (Winter Wonderland pack) and Galaxy Dawn (Starry Sky pack), which, if I had to redo, I'd make the grass different than I did there. Not sure what I was thinking with that.

Thank you everyone for the amazing entries. It was really difficult to get it down to just five. Everyone did such a great job. There was some entries I loved but the image placement or scale did not fit the game horses. Make sure to watch for that in future contests.
