Disappearing gmts

If you get a gmt from creating a horse and you save it then later join all your accounts together do you lose that gmt?
Or is tgere a time limit to collect the gmt that the horse has?
As ive over time on a few accounts got tge tokens but since joining my accounts together as its easier i no longer have an tokens -
