I accidentally snipped my bootstrap stud
-
I was curious if any of my bootstrap studs were as good as or better their their sires, so I was comparison testing them. I got one AGA, and I thought that would mean he would pass breeding advice (though maybe not SBA?). So I tested him and he got snipped. :-( I guess I understood that incorrectly.

Breeding advice tests both parents, comp testing only tests one.Starstruck2 on Bluegrass and Forest

Do you still have a stud to use for bootstrapping? I can hold back some of my colts this year if you need one.

This was my highest pt (12.6) hom nexus stallion. I have a 13 pt het nexus, so i'll be fine, just bummed.

If you didnt breed him ; you can always ask the person who did to UN snip him ; its only 1 GMT to do it
