The number in brackets is the pasture bonus for that mare / the number of consecutive days that mare has been in a pasture

Cool! Does that change when you purchase a mare? Like if I bought a [+30] mare in auction and put her in my barn, does she lose that bonus?

Like CLynnRose said, as long as you get the mare back in a pasture before nighttime rollover, she’ll keep that bonus. However, if you buy a mare with [30+] and put her in a barn and leave her there overnight, she’ll lose the full pasture bonus. So, if you eventually put her in a pasture, the count will start at 0 since the count is only for consecutive days
