Stallion Ad Contest!

ATTENTION: Dates for entry and voting have changed to abide by forum rules!
Back when I first started playing on HaJ, players used to make amazing stud ads every year to present their breeding programs to the public. In lieu of having an "about us" or profile page, it was the way breeders could advertise their awesome horses. And I want to see it again!!
So I've decided to commandeer it for this upcoming breeding season For now until the 28th, anyone who wishes to partake in the contest can design a post for their breeding programs for February's upcoming season and list them here! You can post on the breeding ads section of the forum and attach the link to this post to compete.
After the 28th voting will open from the 2nd until the 8th and the winners will be chosen!
Prizes:
1st place - $25.00 towards anything you want!
2nd place - $10.00 of what your heart desires.
3rd place - $5.00 or 500,000hbs of your choice.
I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with. Let the game begin!

@CheshireFarms If we get a decent amount of people in this one, I would LOVE help sponsoring the next one, and would be super into making this a regular thing. I'll be making an ad as well, not to compete of course, but just for funsies. This was one of the things that really got me into doing graphic design when I was a teen.

I will be working on futrity leaderboards this winter where both the stallion and foal owners win stuff and it can't be the same person. So you have to own foals from other people's studs and have to stand your studs to other people to compete. Should really help encourage more stallion ads :)Need to contact me? Read this first.

This is a wonderful idea and I would do it but nobody will want to breed to my weird horses. I would be happy to donate some HB toward the prize though.
Some of yall are amazing at making truly fantastic horses from the original genetics meant to be used. I am excited to see what everyone comes up with.

@TennesseeRain it's all in good fun! Stud ads are a way of expressing yourself and your own personality in the horses you raise and produce. There's no harm in giving it a shot!

@TennesseeRain I don't actually see anyone wanting to breed to my guys, but they are my oldest line and I am very proud of them so I'm offering just in case some might be interested. They were started to be totally different from others and so far they still are.
I am thinking of expanding on the main add to include the two other lines I have on the go, the newest being my fantasy line.

I think what I would like to ask is for AppleRunStables to push back this contest so that posts can be made on the 28th and after and for voting to happen in February.
I did not realize until I saw someone's post with Feb in the title what was going on. It is vastly too early for posts for next month. It will be a waste of effort and time as it will both clog up the forum for THIS month and the posts will be lost before next month. It's simply not a good idea to post stallion ads to early for a mix of reasons.

@Ammit you are so right and I am so sorry! I completely spaced on that rule as my main concern was to give everyone a good amount of time to have their entry ready. I am certainly willing to push back to the 28th. I am actually out of state dealing with a family emergency so that buys me more time as well.
