Oh, wow! Everyone doing alright? My first was an emergency C-section. Wake up was not fun! I remember being so cold as the meds wore off.

Yes! We turned out fantastic. I had to be induced because my placenta/ cord weren't able to support her and she hadn't grown in 3 weeks. She has a heart defect as well and after they gave me pitocin the contractions caused her heart rate to skyrocket to almost 200 then would drop below 100s when they stopped. It was so scary.
So surreal to not be able to feel 75% of your body! -
Right?! Like you know you're on the other side of that screen, but you surely can't feel it. :)) My C-section was for a similar reason. I was being induced, but afterwards my daughter started to stress out. Her heartbeat was going sky high, so they did an emergency c-section. I didn't induce the last two, but waited until I started having contractions before I went to the doctor. My youngest almost came in the car on the way! Contractions were less than a minute apart by the time I got there.
