This New Year’s Eve will mark my 11th year playing hunt and jump. For the most part I tend to keep to my own barns but once a year I am reminded to pop my head out of my own barn doors and walk through the barns of the rest of hj and am reminded once again how awesome the community here is. (Also how far our amazing images have come, having started with a herd of blue paint chips and progressing to horse heads to full bodies)

So I am opening up my barn doors for straws and eggs at cost. I breed Grullos that are evenly lined and consistent with a bunch of different white patterns thrown into the mix.

Unfortunately I am a bit behind on my tattooing so some horses that have outside lines may be in the search but won’t be available.

Lol before the horses had pictures there was just a square of colour that was representative of the overall horses colour. Most of my grullo horses ended up being a range of blue with the dun diluting the black. There was also a purple corn craze and purple corn spot horses were all the rage. I used to have a word document with the different horses paint chips and other info on it but it’s been years since I’ve looked at it.

Kahlua13 I can definitely pull an egg from each of those two and will send them sometime this week.

I had no idea the horses didn't use to have pictures! :o How things must have changed. I think I joined at a time when horsesalready had bodies, too, lol. Do you remember how many alleles the horses had at the start or was that side of the game entirely different, too? This is very interesting. Makes me wish for old screen captures...

I've updated the searches to exclude horses I have acquired for my SS's.

I have also finished running Comparison Tests, all remaining Studs are superior to Sire and AGA any brothers remaining.

I've also finished Tattooing all the intact horses so horses with outside lines shouldn't show up in the searches in the first post.

Here is my running list of eggs to collect. Let me know if anyone no longer wants eggs on the list otherwise I will send them out as they are collected. I am trying to name the horses and their ancestors as I open their pages so names may be altered.
