So i bred two consistent SBA horses together and got a filly. She didn't pass SBA, but she had genes that I wanted so I maxxed her.
She came out about a PT of 10 and inconsistent.
Someone pointed out to me that if i took the inconsistent off, she would get a better PT score and she did!
My question is if both parents are consistent, and matched, why would a maxxed horse come out inconsistent?

Consistency seems to still be a separate GMT edit. I'm not sure why it's not part of max ability. I was surprised the first time I saw that too. But both the raw breeding ability and showing ability are still made the best possible by maxing. Inconsistency just suppresses PT, which is why GMTing to consistent lets that highest potential PT show.Thanked by 1Fiddler

maxing them out does not change consistency. That is completely separate. Maxing an inconsistent horse is just maxing them to the best they can be AS an inconsistent horse.Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

Because there was already a GMT option to fix consistency, and consistency is not related to maximum ability. PT score is not and never has been raw ability. It is a composite of several factors.Post edited by Ammit at 2023-01-22 00:53:45Need to contact me? Read this first.
