I love it! I created so much horses already!
However, I did find the same as you gemfish. Some did not get any exceptional, like these girls:

Whilst others got double or even triple exceptional:

My only issue on the doubles and triples they get bumped up a few eras as well LOL! But I've still ended up with a couple of nice exceptionals in era6
