How To Bling Out Your Forum Post - H&J HTML Guide

That worked, thank you!

Heckin' wrong. I was good at html 15 years ago I swear....Post edited by ichigo at 2023-02-04 14:36:32 -
@Ichigo yeha when I get time I'll message them and see if they would be willing to share the code. Looking at the source code of their forum post, I can't figure it out. Everything I try type out doesn't get me the results I would expect to see. And until that post I didn't know this forum was capable of supporting that, since it says you can use simple HTML.

I didn't figure out their exact font, but I did manage to do a simple cursive font. I used the code you posted and put "cursive" in the quotation marks. It worked perfectly!

@MackZ the font is called Brush Script, but I'm just not sure how they used it in the forum. The Font tags are outdated now, and while I think they still work, all that stuff is usually controlled in Style Sheets now (CSS). So like...your CSS would be in your header or in a separate document, so I'm not sure how they wrote it in the forum post. Everything I tried didn't get the results I was looking for. So I'm missing something LOL, which I'm not surprised since I haven't done it in a long time.
-
I asked about using CSS a while back and Ammit said if it were used in forum posts it would have site-wide effects and make a mess. So instead we just use the otherwise obsolete tag attributes.

Thanks for the info

Is there a way to bling your horse's notes? I was able to get it bold, but not larger, and the print is so tiny it's hard to read unless I keep zooming in.
-
@OopsDotCom the only thing I have used was bold and italic. I honestly don't know what else you can use because I've not tried it.
-
@OopsDotCom You can change the size and color of your horses notes!
Example:
Look at this horse's notes;

Here is how I did it. :) You can put in any color or even the HTML code for a color and you can put in any number for the size until its as big as you like!Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755
