I'm completely overwhelmed by the whole futurity thing, but I do want to participate. I don't have time to make those beautiful stud ads like I've been seeing, so I figured I would do a giveaway for some of my favorite studs. I will try to throw in a little something for everybody, different gens, fantasy/non, etc.

I only ask that you use the straws as soon as possible and that each person keeps as many foals from each stud's pairings as possible. I will be offering 10 straws per stud per person, and I would like to send out 100 straws per stud. Please don't take straws if you don't have intentions of breeding them for the futurity.

(Oh and just a side note, I noticed a few of your studs are a bit older; in order for them and their offspring to be eglible for futurity prizes the stud needs to be alive in June to get prizes. So I just only promoted studs 12 years or younger to be 100% sure they are alive. Nothing wrong with promoting older studs, just wanted to let you know in case you didn't know about this :) )

@MasterStablesMS Omg. I did not realize that. Thank you for letting me know. Moving forward I won't add older studs, but I think I will leave the offer up this time. Those older guys could maybe benefit from having a few extra babies on the ground. Haha.

So strange! It shows them as sent, but it doesn't show them as being sent to anyone. :-?

@SabreBaby in order for the foals to qualify (and thus the stud) they must be the same era of the stud. So that means the mare you cross the stud with indeed needs to be of the same era or an higher era, as the foal will automatically get the 'lowest' era number.

So imagine your stud is era 12.
If your cross it with the following this will be the outcome:
Mare era 12 = foal era 12
Mare era 13 = foal era 12
Mare era 14 = foal era 12

Mare era 11 = foal era 11
Mare era 10 = foal era 10 (and so forth, as the mare has the lower era number).

Please note that after that there has been a change in the rules, namely that every foal 5 years or younger counts towards the futurity score of the stud, not only the foals that are excactly 5 years old.
