I have decided I will not be making it easier to qualify for the stallion futurity. What I have seen is that it is very possible to fill the full 25 in one or two seasons. It only takes people working together to do it, and is not a huge amount of foals either given the number I know most stables produce.

It is not a problem if not enough horses of that era either. For example era 2 on Bluegrass has only 3 stallions qualified, but there are over 500 era 2 stallions that could be qualified. What I am seeing is era clubs with no activity and no coordination. Since no one is trying to fill those eras, they are not getting filled. I do not think there is any reason for me to reward that.


What does not work:
-Low effort listing your stallion for stud and expecting other people to care enough to breed to it. If you don't care enough to put some effort into getting your stud out in front of others why should they care about him?
-Listing 5+ stallions for stud in a single post. Pick one or two at a time max to focus on. More studs in a post makes it much less likely to qualify any of them.



What does work:
-Being strategic about which stallions you promote. Focus your effort on one stud at a time, then work on qualifying the next one.
-The fewer gene licenses the easier they are to get qualified.
-Working together. Swap breedings with other players to qualify each other's stallions.
-Actually use the era clubs you made to talk to each other and plan strategically.
-User filler studs. Decide as an era group to get some studs up to 10 foals to make up the needed numbers.
-Stallion incentives like raffles and paying for locked foals can also help get a stud listed.

Don't expect the futurities to just happen, or for me to give out awards for minimal effort. You will need to work together as a server to fill those eras
