So this month might be particulary painful for me ;
I can loose up to 2115 Showhorses
179 Stallions
1153 Broodmares

I have a 4way tie of my oldest Horses they are all age 34, down to them all sharing a birthday :

Total Stallions ( I have a bad habit of keeping them intact >< ) : 3092
Total Broodmares ( again bad habits die hard ) : 10154

I do show everything in the barns every week ; so they are ALL showhorses to me, at least until the mares are old enough to pasture, then they live out their lives on the green fields having babies and living the good life.

lol. Oh man, that is a lot!

I personally try to keep 1 stud for every 50 mares, but realisticly sometimes it is more like 1 for every 30.

Oh no, I'm just returning this season and trying to build back up from losing many barns of show horses and all of my breeding stock ageing out.

At Risk: 419 | 417 show horses
2 Mares at risk (I flushed them this season so I can hopefully breed from them later since they grew up and aged out whilst I was on hiatus)

I also have two horses who are 34yrs old.
