Pearl Cream Tobiano Cobs - The GG Draft Pony Breeding Program

Gypsy Gold (GG) is a breeding program at Cheshire Farms. Started in December 2022 with the release of the Belton Spotting gene, we decided it was time to make these beautiful chubby lawn ornaments. Little by little we began to fall in love with how Pearl and Pearl Creams looked with Tobiano, in combination with other darkening genes. We welcome you to visit our Breeding Program, located on 100 acres of lush green rolling hills, plan your visit to Gypsy Gold.
Authors Note: This program is being bred for fun and color, we don't have plans on being strict about even bred lines. However our even bred horses will be marked with the generation in their name. All uneven bred horses will have a name that ends in BS for bootstrap.Our Breeding Stock Genetics
Inspired by how lovely Dark Pearls looked when paired with Tobiano, we've strived to add genes which compliment these two genes. Such as Dense Pheomelanin (DP), Dun (nd1), Gluastra Plume (GP), Mushroom (mu), Pearl (Prl), Pigment Density Regulator (BI), Satin (sa), Sooty (Sty), Splash (SW1), and Tobiano (TO).Cheshire Farms began in May 2020 with a focus on breeding Dun Appaloosas. With hard work an dedication to the breed, we are now over 10 generations strong. Our foundation is built upon excellent breeding stock and rigorous testing. Hello, I’m just returning after a hiatus of a couple of years (2-3 I think!) and I’m restarting work on my own black cob project.
Your presentation post and equines produced are stunning.
I’d be interested to purchase some of the lesser horses, that don’t quite meet your exacting requirements, but could be great as foundations in my re-newer line.

@Danika3 not Kiss Me Kate, but yeah Gypsy Gold. Because the line I'm breeding are Gypsys, and they have the gold color of Pearl. But also GG just kinda stuck lol. I remember back in the 90's when I first heard about the Gypsy Cobs being imported to America. To think how spread out they are now in America, in just 20 years is really something.

Yeah they're such a luxury breed in America which is interesting when you compare it to other places of the world that has Cobs. The Gypsy Gold Farm's initials in their pedigree the GG just always makes me think about GG Kiss Me Kate since she's such a force.
"As of this writing (2022), GG Kiss Me Kate has won 42 Supreme Champion titles, including 3 National Supreme Titles. No other mare has won a National Supreme and no other horse has won a National Supreme title more than one time."
