I can't believe I've been playing for eight years! I still remember my first day on the game. I didn't know what I was doing and when I went to the create-a-horse page, I activated the first herd helper I saw, a red-based gray. I love grays in RL, so I was so excited and spent all my HBs creating these beautiful gray horses. I thought they must be really special because I created them with a rank 1 herd helper! ... whatever that was... I even won the 10k lottery which let me create more horses. Then I was broke and panicked and sold back the ones that testing spayed so I could keep going.

So that was my first day, and I made many more booboos for a long time after that. But actually, my first mistake(?) was when I picked my name, CLynnRose. I had no idea until I had already created my account that other players would have farm names and stable names for their player names, so I felt a little out of place that I just picked my go-to username. It's the main name I've used online for years, and now I'm thinking it's time for a change. I'm thinking of changing my username to Cavarly. (I've already changed my stable name to Cavalry Acres) Or maybe something else that starts with a C and is a single word, or two at the most. I also like the sound of Carmen and Centaurian. But all of these are already being used in one form or another. Maybe I should use an anagram... Lavacry? Is that interesting or dumb?

Anybody have any ideas? And do you remember your first day on the game? I'll send 50k HBs or 10 straws (let me know which you'd rather) from any stallions in my barn to everybody who posts with ideas and/or an early days in the game anecdote. :D
