Thanks to everyone who has convinced me to be consistent in keeping show horses, and not giving a care about this magical gmt horse who's foals may or may not bring me income. Yesterday I hit 200k daily payout, and gaining! My hbs seem like they jump a mile every time I open my account the next day, I was even able to get a copy of satin on my latest gmt project. I thought that was never going to happen and I was going to give up and breed him without it. I now have hope that I'll actually be able to add a second copy by the end of this month or at the most by the day next breeding season starts!

In celebration I'm offering free straws from any of my stallions. Breeding requirements aren't a thing here, breed for color or pretty show babies, or I have 2 boosted high pt studs that would be good for bootstrapping!

If you don't want straws I'd love to give 20k to anyone who shares something they're happy about in game or real life!

let me be the first to say congratulations! I'm right behind you.
I'm happy about the game because there is real feedback, Ammit is always listening and trying new stuff to keep us all entertained. It's very personal, I really like that.
Also, yes, I keep learning and figuring out more things about the game, it is satisfying because of the complexity.

@Fiddler, This is the best community in a game I have seen yet. I love that this game is something I don't get stuck mindlessly clicking (or for me, tapping) around in the same groove everyday. If I want to start another project I don't have to pay to do so. That makes the game more entertaining to where the time spent on it is much more rewarding.

@Ammit, thank you for what was probably the 50th shove in the right direction :))

Congratulations! That hurdle feels awesome to clear, and it makes a big difference in what you can afford to do in the game.
Like Fiddler, and probably most of the players in this game, I too love how helpful and supportive this community is. I've never had this experience in any other game I've played. I also love the available variety in how you can choose to play, whether you like to be competitive or take it slow, focus on color, quality, or both, or even just be random and see where it leads. And there's a lot I've learned about color genetics while playing, so that's been really nice as well.

Woohoo for you! I echo Mack's sentiment about the color genetics. I've read books about horses, and some of the terms became clear only after playing this game for a while. I wanted a horse when I was younger and never got one (probably for the best, to be honest), so I enjoy this game for giving me a taste of the nice stuff without the chores.
