What's your favorite non-fantasy color?
-
I'm going to start a new line for Era 15, and can't quite decide what to focus on. I made the mistake of adding a fantasy gene when I started my Era 14 line, so I don't want to make that oops again.
I made a list of June herd helpers if that prompts anyone's ideas. -
I always liked silver classic champagne. :)

My personal favorites are DP, sooty+, pangare+, ND1, gray w/ gray reduction, splash M, and belton spotting. There's going to be some nice sooty+, pangare+, and gray reduction herd helpers this year that would make a great start for GMT projects. Also an appy spot regulator herd helper if you like big spotted appies. I'm thinking about doing something like that this time around, unless I decide to just save up GMTs and HBs straight through to era 16 and the holiday sales. Then I can really go all out, but I'm not sure yet... Jewel box is also a nice new fancy gene that's fantasy free. Here's a list of all the non-fantasy "fancy" genes:
Satin, sooty+, pangare+, mushroom, splash M, belton spotting, gray reduction, jewel box, snowdrop, sunshine, snowflake varnish, appaloosa spot regulator, gulastra plume, kit promoters 1&2, dun factor promoters 1&2, tiger eyes 1&2. -
I've been a bit obsessed with black and smoky black horses that also have pangare+. I also love rabicano, belton spotting, and nd1/dun, so I've started a new line with those things.
1CF Top of the Morning
Morning is my foundation stallion for this line, and he's a Hope of Dawn create.
Some of his offspring...
2 New Morning
2 Cup of Joe
2 Top Candles
And this guy who isn't owned or bred by me, but he has the look I'm going for. He doesn't look like your typical grullo, but he is! Well...the cream is adding to things but he's very brown-toned for a grullo and I am here for it!

Pangare does not show on black horses IRL, but I absolutely love that it does in-game. I'm a total goof in that I love things that "shouldn't be", just like pangare showing on on black horses. I also greatly dislike black Friesians, but adore chestnut ones.

Here's a couple of my lined horses with coloring I'd like to recreate in a new era foundation if I can afford it. Gray silver smoky black with sooty+ is my favorite base coat these days and splash M with belton spotting is my favorite white markings. These would look even better if they had hom belton. :D

I love my liver lines with S+ and DP and i love my brown lines with S+ and DP . I also love adding white genes like kit M or sabino or white 8 or tobiano.
I was in the same boat as you trying to decide what line to start for era 15 that isnt the same as what i always breed. So this era im dedicating to the color grey. I want my greys to resemble the chinchilla look as close as possible and of course figuring out what bling i want to add to them that isnt fantasy. This is also my first line i plan on having multiple mares and pasturing them. -
Perhaps not all will be grey. Maybe ill have a couple liver and brown mares to add to it but this line is mostly focused on the dapple grey coat with black legs and such. With minimal whitening out.
