Several Eras are in Jeopardy
Era 1 2 3 4 5 6 , 8 9 10 11

If you have a stud in any of those Eras, post here, or somewhere we can all see. They each need 10 foals that are not owned by or bred by the stallion's owner to get into the running .

Do not post horses that are already in the futurity, the point is we need more. If we don't fill the spaces (25 of each) there will be no futurity for that particular era.

Horses have to be under 12 years old, or they might die before 6 months is up and the colts won't be in the futurity

Instead of posting studs, this server would do way better if people were offering to breed to other people's stallions. It is not an issue of lack of studs but a lack of people breeding outside their barn or willing to work together with other players.

Just posting studs is not going to get this server on track with the others.

I have swapped with several people on this list, and honestly dont care about where my horses land in the rankings. I would think however the people who are in the top 5 of the rankings would be more willing to keep them selves there by working with others ? It cant just be 3 or 4 people to do this.

Correct. The other servers have a lot more people doing swaps and stuff. Just not enough people are willing to keep foal by outside studs on this server.

That's a shame. And for show ponies, what does it really matter if it's your own foals or from an outside stud? The bulk of a show herd could potentially be futurity foals after you've kept what you want from your own lines for PT and points earned in the color clubs and era clubs. Futurity foals could still continue to be competitive show horses in the breeder's clubs long after they age out of the futurity program.

Gonna put this out there as a development idea, or if someone can clue me in that this exists already: there should be a bulk stable management button for setting breeding price. Just like the auction button, only for breeding. Pretty please!

@annismyrph I still don't understand why they need to be less than 12. Ammit announced that all points count now, not just the 5yo points. Unless that changed. The main futurity post isn't updated, so some changes were mentioned in the comments.

Yesterday I picked a random stallion that I liked from an era that needed filling and bred 10 creates to him just to keep the show foals. I know not everyone has a ton of barn space, but if people could pick even one outside stallion a month to breed 10 to, I'm sure the futurity would go a lot further.

@CheshireFarms It's true all foals five and under count now, but it's the five-year-olds that are going to be the top point earners. If your futurity stud dies before his foals are five, he'll never have a chance to win a futurity award and none of the players holding his foals will have a chance to win awards with them either. You can use older stallions just to help fill out the bottom of the board, but it's better to use younger stallions that will have a chance to be there longer.

@cheshirefarms if i go through the trouble of breeding to a stud and doing the futurity lock and all that bit, i am going to be very disappointed if he dies before my colts are old enough to win prizes.

If you have so many stallions to list that you need the bulk button to list them than you almost certainly have way too many studs.

Seeing lots of people standing studs but nearly enough people willing to breed to other players' studs to fill the board. Just listing more studs won't solve the issue since the issue isn't a lack of studs. :)

I try to pick up as many as i can. I like the idea of breeding to at least one outside stud a month and keep the foals. If everyone did that then we shouldnt have a problem.

I see the same people helping out over and over again. I dont see a lot of different users. Im sure there are more than 10 or 15 people on this server. How can we get some of these users involved?
