I had a banner made years ago for one of my older stables that I have since combined with this account. I need a new banner.. I would like it to pay respect to my amazing stallions of the past and my current boys as well. I want their names on them. I am still the home of the Legend Line.. however I now have a hidden line and a warrior line and satins and so much "bling" although I have that word.

So here's the deal.. I need a new banner and a new slogan. I would like the banner to have maybe a fire and ice theme or a earth air fire water type theme.. Something semi realistic to go with the graphics of the game.

the payoff?

1 million hbs for the winning design... fair warning I'm picky..I might pick a winner on general desgin and ask for some adjustments

500k hbs for the winning slogan ... this can be a different person from the banner design.

everyone who enters gets something: a gift of my choosing.. show horse, straw(s), egg(s) something

you can enter as many times as you wish.. however you only get one gift.

The winner of the design and slogan can be one person or two different people or no one at all.

PLEASE include your ID and stable name with your submission.

I will post the stallions I want included later. I want to see how many people are interested.

Let's all keep in mind though that if this banner is going on your horse pages it can be no more than 150 pixels high x 500 pixels wide and can be no larger than 15kbs.

If you're wanting a signature banner for the forum, I'm not exactly sure of the dimensions for that. I would expect that the width would be about 490 pixels, since that's the width the horse images are reduced to. I'm not certain what the height limit and size might be.

With a good image editing program, I'm pretty sure it can. It might be possible to use the same thing in both places. My forum sig is smaller than the limits for the stable image, but I think I've seen taller ones from time to time. It's probably better to keep a forum sig no larger than the stable image, so that it doesn't take over from the conversation.

You can see my stable image on this horse's page. It actually measures 498x143 pixels. I deliberately made it a tad smaller than the maximum, just so it wouldn't go over. Just go to her page to see it.

I don't have time to really participate in this, but I will throw in my two cents on images and image sizing for whoever is doing them... It's absolutely possible to size an image down for the signature with a quick tweak in photoshop or illustrator depending on where it was designed (there are probably lower-cost methods too, but that seems to give the best results).

I've got as far as a slogan, but am wrestling with ideas for achieving the 5 elements theme, which is beginning to gel, now, at least in my mind. How I'm going to fit all those horses into 500x150 pixels is still boggling my mind. :D

That image is 100 pixels wider than the current maximum and twice as twice as many pixels high as the current limit. We used to have to post the stable image on an image sharing site that allowed direct linking.

Now header is uploaded to the HaJ server, and has to be much smaller. You upload your image by going to the stable home page, upgraded options (on the right side of the page), Manage Stable Settings, Update Horse Header Image.

I don't have a ton of free time, but whipped something up since it seems no one else has managed to do it yet. All the horses are the same placeholder pony since cutting them out well is time consuming, and I'd want you to choose the four horses we'd use if you want to go ahead with this design. Some minor changes are possible, but may take time since I'm busy writing my thesis at the moment. No hard feelings if this isn't what you're looking for :)

No prize necessary, thought this could be a good base for you with the element theme (wallpaper from Avatar: The Last Airbender) Full resolution if someone wanted to pluck out the element squares

I miss having a computer I could do this stuff on, have to jump between 4 different websites to accomplish what I want to.

Slogan: fantasyfarms Where Breeding is Elemental + ID # at top of banner

At bottom of banner Home of Legend, Hidden and Warrior Lines; breeding for Satin and color

I have selected elements from some of my photos to represent earth, air, fire and water, and a Hubble image of the Orion Nebula, modified, for Spirit. I want to do some manipulation of this composite strip of images to make them homogeneous and then see about fitting horses into it somehow. I have grave doubts about getting 12 horses into it, but I'll see what I can do.

I know from experience that will definitely simplify things. It's almost impossible to get a clean outline on an elaborate background or one where the outline of the horse gets lost in places. Thanks!

I couldn’t make it to the right dimensions for a banner or else the quality would be ruined, and I did have other backgrounds originally but it didn’t work out. The problem is, I have no idea how to add images with this.
