I don't think I've ever bought anything on this game so fast. I love them Ammit!

I ve a question , I just bought this BC and I want to update my Livers to this art ; is there a way to NOT update My appies that are light boned? Or in the future to change my Lightboned Appies only to a different Art, but leave my livers ?

I'm not an arabian person at all but this one is one of my favorites! WOW

Hi @annismyrph! Not sure if anyone has answered your question about having multiple Breed Characteristics. But here's how it works as far as I can tell. (If I'm wrong, anyone can feel free to correct me and I can update this explanation accordingly!)

First step, of course, is buying the Breed Characteristics. You can either purchase 5 BC tokens for $25.00 under the "Game Cash & Tokens" tab under Buy Upgrades. Or, you can go to the Upgrades for HBs page and purchase BC tokens for 200 IVs each. However, you need 1000 IVs in order to purchase enough BC tokens to buy 1 of the Breed Characteristics, which is 12,500,000 hbs. Then you have to go to the Manage By Breeds page, and click the link for "Unlock Additional Breed Characteristics" towards the top of the page. Then use your BC tokens to purchase whichever Breed Characteristic you want. (Make sure you check which body type the BC can apply to! Also remember that each BC costs at least 5 BC tokens!)

But in terms of having 2 or more Breed Characteristics for one body type, you have two different options:
Under the "Breed Characteristics" tab on the Manage My Breeds page, you should be able see image options for Stallions, Mares, and Foals under the unique breed you created for your Premium account.
Option 1 - You can choose different BC types for different genders within the same breed. (Example: If you bought the Polish Arabian and Saddlebred BCs, you could make your Stallions under the same breed have the Saddlebred BC and your Mares could have the Polish Arabian BC.)
Option 2 - You purchase a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th, etc.) Breed slot for 10 IVs each and set one BC type for one of your breeds vs another. But before doing that, be sure that all of your horses are set to whichever breed name you want so that the correct Breed Characteristic will apply.
But if you buy several Breed Characteristics for different body types, you can also change the Breed Characteristic for each body within the same breed. (Example: If you buy the Polish Arabian BC and the Suffolk Punch BC, you could change one of your breeds so that all the heavy-boned horses could have the Suffolk Punch BC and all the light-boned horses could have the Polish Arabian BC.)

Yes. You set a tattoo for each breed. Say Appies have a star, once you set that breed with that tattoo, foals born from those horses inherit the tattoo and the breed by association.

There is no need to set a tattoo and the tattoos have nothing to do with assigning BCs. You can set the BC by gender for a breed (one art for stallions and one for mares) but if you want to divide your herd up by color with different BCs you will need to use multiple breeds. Breeds were created explicitly with being able to assign different art in mind.

These ones are always available. I won't promise that will be true for every BC.
