Someone can probably explain this better but
To get highest chance of intact foals you need to try closely match the parents so when breeding foundation horses match a c papered stallion to a yellow papered mare a B papered stallion to a red papered mare and A papered stallions to blue papered mares and try match tge generations as well uneven generations will be harder to get intact foals

The thing that stuck out to me is you have no interest in showing.. why not?

@Kat8805 I've had better luck getting intacts with closely matching abilities and within one generation of each other.

Ah, it may be boring, since we never get to see them jumping, but it's the way money is made in this game. The small prize pay-outs are the least of it. Please read this discussion.

Every night my invisibly showing horses add 324,264 hb's to my bank account. EVERY night. And the number actually increases daily a bit, as horses add more show points to their collection just by being shown.

Of course it takes patience to reach such totals, but it can be done, slowly but surely. I have a large stable, but by no means the largest. Those of us who have gathered a thousands of horses and show most them seldom have to worry about having enough game cash. In fact, what we worry about is having too much game cash, since we're not allowed to collect more than 9,999,999 hbs in our bank accounts. So we have lots of money to buy Investment Vouchers for making fancy horses in the Genetic Modification Lab or buying additional barns, or fancy Tack Packs.

If you want to get anywhere in this game, showing is the only way to go.

On server 2 Ammit recently started a contest to see how many points a barn could collect in 2 months without using any real money. Anything we got had to be earned by the weekly pay, daily show bonus or selling/auctioning horses off.

Some players lucked out and found a bunch of high pointed horses on the sales board.

Personally I had much better luck raiding the foundation rescue (ID# 13) for horses that were 5-8 years old and had been sitting around training but were being overlooked because they only had 3-18 points. Once I started regularly showing them (and most importantly continue training them weekly) I now have a stable full of horses with over 100 points each.

I also searched the auctions as many times as I could and picked up as many high pointed horses as I could (although that’s relative because I’d start at the top of the points list and work my way down until I ran out of money to bid and often the last horses I bid on had 18-40 points) Again I trained and showed them weekly and except for my latest group (who haven’t had time to earn more points since then) are all doing quite well.

My favourite is a 18 year old gelding I took a chance on the last week February figuring I’d toss him back in the last auction before March and have earned a few extra dollars. He had 18 points and by the time it was time to enter the last auction he had 120points. I kept him and a month later he now has 348 points or 37hbs/day.

We are now in the last week of the 2 month long contest and I’ve been able to buy 2 - 30stall barns and am just a few IV’s away from being able to have enough to buy an upgrade so I don’t have to hand train everyone (which is more boring than showing but just as important) I also hold 12,209 points and earn 1,308hbs/day.
