Help me name this Pony

    Long story short, I aquire another project mini pony stallion. He's 2 years old, suspected to be Silver Bay Tobiano (I'll be getting him gene tested in the next few months when I get Raven's sent out to test to see if she carries LWO).

    I am having a hard time coming up with a name. So far all I've come up with is Cash and I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it..

    The person who comes up with the best name by Sunday 12pm will get 250k hbs

    • Nothing cutesy like cookie.
    • Would like to stay away from an "e" ending sound in the name but not a deal breaker (a lot of our animals either have the "e" sound ending their name or their nick names do :)) )

    We currently have a Zeffirelli, Gypsum, Raven and Maverick.

    This boy is actually really sweet though and he has a really nice head on his shoulders! I can take him past my mares and he acts like a gelding and he's always up your butt wanting attention :))

    He looks very silver bay tobi. I think you are spot on with that.

    I would name him Trystan Valentine after my favorite space pirate. I find small animals with big names to be very funny.

    I kind of like "Taboo" ; you could always call him "Boo-Boo" as a nickname, its sweet but not "cutesie"

    @RKO - unsure of bloodlines, he's an auction pony (working up to registered stock once I see if the training aspect is something my kids enjoy participating in or if it's something I can handle anymore, I haven't trained a horse since I was in high school training TB babies)

    @MackZ - I'm not sure either of the nicknames will work, we have a goat we call Dom (his farm name is Dombok because he's not the smartest buck in the world and if you say it fast enough it sounds like dumb buck) and we use to have a Black App Tobi pony named Domino.

    Not sure if you’re a fan of formula 1, but if you are, Senna might make a good name

    If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, Frodo would be a cute name

    Maybe Ragnar instead of Ragnarok?

    You could name him Mammoth haha

    I’ve had 3 minis: Dixie, Red, and Magic - all 3 came with their names

    My family and I have joked that a great name for a mini mare would be Sassafras (nickname Sassy) :))

    I’ve also thought that Dash or Bullet would be a cute name for a mini because of their little legs when they have the zoomies lol
