So a clue horse is a horse that is unique enough that I can write clues for it that players will use the search to try to find. Each horse’s clues will be in their notes, so I need horses that are unique enough that once all the clues are entered into the search there aren’t dozens of pages of horses to look through. A chestnut foundation mare wouldn’t be a good choice, but a horse with tack or unique genes would be perfect. It’s also ideal for the horse to have a name.

So how this works is that I use my creative writing to create a mystery story which I will post the start of in a week or two. I’ll use one of my own horses as the first clue horse. Each clue horse will have one or two clues in their notes about who our villain is (name, weapon used, where they were at the time of the crime). After the clue, there will be a paragraph describing the next horse that you then have to find with the search. If you get stuck you can PM me for a clue.

Once the time for the contest is over (I’m planning for it to be about a week), I’ll post the rest of the storyline to reveal who the villain is!
