I thought I remembered Ammit saying that peacock and halo were the same when it was visible in the GMT lab and people were asking what it is. I hope there's going to be updates to halo because I was looking at this page the other day and wishing it could look like this in the game:

I'd be crazy about halo!

Yeah I remember there was some kind of glitch, where our horses that were varnishing were showing spots they weren't supposed to. Like if you had a horse that had a spotted blanket over the hips, the body would varnish causing it to white out. However with the glitch, the body varnished but it left spots behind, giving the impression of a blanket appy being a leopard appy.

I think this was before ASR1 because I remember when this happened, I went through all my horses refreshing them, and putting in their notes if they had big spots or not (because I was trying to breed for big spots - before realizing how it worked in the game).

At least I know I wasn't imagining it now lol. Thought I was crazy for a minute, it feels so long ago.
