WV Tabula Rasa

Meet Tabula Rasa, which means 'blank slate', because this is what she is at the moment. I will undertake to spend up to 50 GMTs on her to make her the competition winner's perfect horse. I will then sell her to the winner for create price (2500hbs). Remember, you can have her changed to a stallion, made taller or shorter, heavier or lighter, as well as play around with her colour. If you are unfamiliar with GMTs go to the menu on the left and under Advanced Facilities, click Gene Mod Treatment. This will give you a list of the genes that can be altered together with their price. Don't forget that some colours need two copies of a gene to make it show up. The genetic testing of this horse is at the bottom of her page so you can see what genes she currently has. You do not have to spend 50 tokens worth, that is just the maximum.

So, how do you win this prize? Simply tell me how you would alter her and why. Would it be for a particular colour that you like, or to breed to another horse to get the perfect offspring, or just because you feel like splashing out on something just for the hell of it? I will choose a winner purely on my subjective whims and get her altered and to the new owner in time for the start of the new breeding season. To this end, the competition will end at midnight on 30th April (game time).

If i got this mare i would put white m on her and make her a stallion because that is what ive been working towards for so long and still have heaps further to go before i would reach my goal

I would make her Hom KP with 1 copy of White 8 and 1 copy of Sb2 because those are just gorgeous colours. I'd also make her a stallion so that she could more easily spread the genes through my herd. I'd probably also make her Hom EE and remove the A+ just because I prefer black based horses - I find white and Kit genes so beautiful on a black base. Ideally I might even add Hom silver because silver blacks are just beyond gorgeous.

I've been dying to break into breeding KPs but I'm laughably far away from the point of being able to use GMTs let alone enough GMTs to make a KP herd sire. I prefer starting from foundations because most of my mare herd is really young so while it's easier to get a KP herd sire in the higher gens, I just don't have the mares to pair with one. A foundation KP herd sire would have plenty of mares in my band to breed with allowing me to have a functional KP line. While White 8 and Sb2 aren't the best Kit genes for KP (due to being more dangerous to cross with other Kit genes than things like roan and tobiano) it's easier for me to get mares that have safe Kit genes like roan and tobiano so I'd just match him with safe mares.

If I were to win this mare, I'd love to make her into a stallion, for ease of breeding. I would also want to give her white 3, splash 2, hom KP, hom GP, one copy of DP, and change her from chestnut to bay. That would make her a white spotted bay splash, plus the additional genes. I have a GMT from a candy pony that I can use to give her a copy of sooty, so the DP will express (I think that's how it works...).

It's been a HAJ dream of mine to get a GMT'd foundation stallion. I've always admired the fancy color combinations, and the wonderful offspring they can produce. I've also wanted to introduce KP and the two white genes to my herd for a long while, and this seems to be the perfect opportunity.

I’d turn her into a stallion and make her a buckskin splash...dark color, like the bay...perferably like the stallion I’m posting for an example (I know he’s not a splash but I love his coloring with the dapples and four stockings). “He” would have the Kit genes that would have the gray over his coat. I think it would be a gorgeous horse.

This would be my foundation Kit Promoter stallion and allow me to start my own line of them from scratch. While I do already have a few KPs (some bought, some bred), I don’t have any from parents that I bred myself. It would be very rewarding to start from the beginning.

Way back in the day I had a couple Sooty Plus horses, and I would love to have one again. I would use the 50 GMTs to change her to a stallion... so she could have more influence over my herd, and to give her Splash & Splash 2. Then I would use the rest to give her Sooty +. I would invest the rest to make her homozygous for Sooty +.

Thank you for the opertunity. I would remove the A gene and put EE and have the sa (satin) gene put on. I have always dreamed of having a foundation satin horse. I would also after buying her boost her. For my facy line horses.

What a fun idea! :D
I would try to fit most of my favourite genes in: one copy of W3, one of Sb2, one copy of Splash 2, and two copies of KP.
I would also make her into a stallion so I could get the benefits of pasture breeding bonus and still breed several foals pr. season. If I get to choose she (he) would also get two copies of dominant extension and one At because brown would make the perfect background for all those pretty markings :x

Fantastic idea! If she was mine, I would make her into my dream horse, a Silver Black KitM. Perhaps do some additional GMTs, to make her a really dark Silver Black.

If she were mine I'd just gmt her to homozygous sooty and add one copy of kp along with tobiano and kit m. I have a lot of really awesome foundations to choose from but have none that are kit M and thats a gene I really like! Homozygous sooty to go with the DP horses :D

Bone Warm --> Bone Riding +1 token
no lp --> Llp 2 tokens
no PATN1 --> PATN1 +1 token
no Rb --> Rb +2 tokens
No sa --> sa +40 tokens

Why would this be a dream horse .. cause breeding her would be a grab bag of genes fitting almost anywhere in any of my lines. You wouldn't be totally sure of what I would get when crossing her with my DP boy or my satin clone boy or my snowflake boy ... could get lucky and she might be carrying a snowflake gene (Its happened once LOL) I wouldn't boost her as she is an expro already and I have found as you get further down the boosted lines its gets harder and harder to get them to pass and with the new breeding I'd want to flush at least twice to use AI .... Okay I put alot of thought into this ... more than i thought I would, thanks for the opportunity this is awesome

If I were to win this beautiful girl I would :-?
Turn her into a stallion and turn him\her hom KP then also w3 as well as hom pearl as well as hom dun & hom gulstra plume & also hom silver & hom bay
Because then she/he would fit my lines perfectly and would be the centre of all my breeding this is a wonderful idea

Wow, this is an incredible contest, you are so generous! :x If I were to win Tabula Rasa, I would change her extension genes to EE (2 tokens) and change her A+ to a (1 token) to make her black. Then I would change her silver genes to ZZ (2 tokens) to make her silver black. I would then make her homozygous for sabino 1, my favorite gene (8 tokens)! To better see the sabino, I would change the white factor to extensive (1 token). And finally, I would make her a sport pony because I breed for little ponies (1 token). This may seem like a relatively uninteresting GMT venture when you look at the huge variety of genes in the lab, but I would love to have another mare like my first GMT'd horse-a Bring Back the Sun mare with silver and sabino. :) Thanks for offering this contest, it was fun to think about the possibilities!

This is such an amazing idea! If I were to have her, I would "spend it all in one place", just about - I'd make her into him, and then I'd make him hom w8. With the remainder, hom Ssty.

As 50 isn't enough to also add hom DP, and tobiano takes the same gene w8 does, I would just be using freaky friday mares to breed to him.

My ideal horse is liver chestnut with w8 and tobiano, as it's just the most gorgeous coloring. I would GMT the frame off the freaky friday girl, just to make it safe, and make her hom tobiano. Then all the foals would turn out absolute beauties. :)

This is so neat! I’ve been trying to save up hb’s for this sort of thing, but it’s taking a while LOL.

I would keep her a mare, changed to a riding horse though. Homozygous sooty, DP, and I’d love to Wm or a copy of Satin!

My ideal changes would be one copy E(1gmt), one copy Ccr(1gmt) to make her a buckskin which I adore. I enjoy dark and dappled so change one copy S+(20gmt) and one copy Ssty(1gmt). Change A+ to At(2gmt). As a homage to a stud I recently got and fell in love with I would add two copies of Kit Promoter(10gmt), and one copy of Kitsb2(10gmt)and one copy Kitsb1(4 gmt).
I would keep her a mare since they are the basis for a good breeding program (loads of good studs out there), but adjust white factor to medium(1gmt).

I would change her into a stallion (+2), add 1 E (+1), hom flaxen (+2), hom At Brown (+4), hom Rabicano (+4), hom sooty (+2) and het Silver (+1). This would make a Silver Brown Rabicano. Then I would change bone to to heavy (+1). I would use this horse to breed dark silver brown rabicano and dark flaxen chestnut rabicano. Not as flashy as some, but my favorite colors.

I would put E, a, f, Ssty, Z, Kitr, Kit,Sps, Sps, Owl, WF:large. This would make a silver blue Roan splash frame. This is my favorite color of horse in the game and I only have one mare who is 14. I would also add some other fun genes I like such as Gulastra Plune, Rb, Sa, and DP. Also a few others. I would also change her to a him. This is am amazing opportunity. I would want her so that I could have the perfect offspring. Plus, I would color her chocolate palomino spash pearl since I've been trying to get a pearl and a Kit Promotor gene. Thankyou! :)

I would make her into a draft size, with two copies of pearl, black, brown (At), Lp, Patn1.
I adore brown appys and have been slowly trying to add more pearl to my breeding stock. My favorite size range is draft. She would be a highly treasured addition to my breeding mares. Thank you for this amazing offer!

This was such a hard decision to make, there were quite a few worthy winners. However, only one person can win and so I chose Corvus. I have sent you a message Corvus about picking up your prize.
