Bought 1 month BC Subscription?
-
What does it actually entail? Am I able to unlock new breeds with it? The description on the upgrade page is kind of vague.
If it unlocks new breeds I’d do the monthly subscription I just want to know what I’m signing up for.Post edited by SharayahStables at 2024-06-21 15:50:01 -
Never mind, I think I figured it out. I was hoping the subscription would allow me to unlock the new Warmblood but that’s my mistake.
Thanks for reading haha! -
Does it not unlock the BC? I was a bit confused too when I read it
-
It should, shouldn't it? The BC subscription should unlock all BCs for you, even the limited edition ones, for as long as you have the subscription.
-
I wanted to create a new breed of Dutch Warmblood but I still had to buy 5 BC to do so. So I’m not sure?
-
Say I only have it a month, what about after the subscription expires? Are you able to keep the ones you've unlocked/used as a breed? I don't mean to intrude on Sharayahs thread, but it brought up some questions :))
-
To be clear I didn’t buy the 5 BC yet.. I’ll have to save for that.
-
It should unlock it from my understanding?
-
Oh yeah, I'm thoroughly confused :)) I'll see if I can find the post Ammit made about it a few months back.
UPDATE:
Here's what I found:
"What happens if it expires?
You are already allowed to own horses with BCs you do not own. If your subscription expires all the edits you made to horses will stay. However, your breeds will revert to the "National" BC. That means you will no longer be able to create new horses with those BCs, or breed foals with those BCs. It will not change all your horses to the National BC unless you go in and update your breed or horses yourself though. You get to keep the edits you made until such time as you change those horses' breed characteristics.
What about the BCs I already purchased?
Any BC you already own will behave exactly as before, and will still be owned by you if your subscription expires. It won't alter your breed settings either. Only BCs you don't own will get reset. So if you love the Polish Arabian and always want your breeds to STAY Polish Arabian but want to play around with some other BCs too then your best bet is to buy the BC you love and have a subscription for trying out other ones."
This explains my own questions, but not quite sure why Sharayah can't unlock it?Post edited by kgstable at 2024-06-21 17:37:08 -
I believe you don't actually UNLOCK any bcs with the subscription, but if you go to a horse's page you can change their BC and you can assign it to your breedStarstruck2 on Bluegrass and Forest

You can't unlock anything with a bc sub. You get temp access to all the bcs for as long as you have a subscription. Your breeds revert if it expires but the BCs you set stay on the horses.Post edited by Ammit at 2024-06-21 21:21:44Need to contact me? Read this first.

You'll have to found a breed and set the BC before it will show up on the create page. Least that's how it worked for me.
