The hardest part in the beginning is making HB's... make sure you do every single Achievement Task.. it will actually help you with not just $ but also stall space as you comeplete each task. Also, there used to be a thread for New people to get 150,000 HB's but puttign ahorse up for sale, since I cant find the thread,please put a horse up for sale in This thread for 150,000 HB's so I can buy it from you :)

Another you can do is comb though the HerdHelper forum for the day, keep up to date. You're looking for exceptionally perfect, exceptional show, and exceptional producers. You will get some Rank Specials along the way that you can create for 2500 then sell for a higher price according to that link I gave you.

Welcome to hunt and jump! Starting out can be difficult for sure. Have you completed the achievement tasks? Sometimes those can help as your starting out. Also all the horses you create starting out are given points till you have reached a max of 20,000 points "i beleive" . If i were to start over again i would keep all my pointed creates as they earn you hbs daily , i would breed them all that were of age and not spayed or gelded and the foals i would immediately put into the auction without doing any testing to them. Repeat the next season while you build your foundations. I know its hard to at first but the more you can save up you can buy ivs and purchase more stalls with ivs. This will allow you to have more horses which will eventually add up to your daily hbs payout . Also remember to put your horses into shows twice a week and to have them trained! Also yes rank special horses can go for quite a bit of hbs depending on the genetics. Ones that you decide dont match the types of horses your wanting put it in the for sale forum and have an auction or put it in the public auction for more than 2,500hbs and advertise you have these horses in the auction. Some creates can earn you between 15,000hbs to 400,000hbs depending on the genetics. Hope this little bit helps :)

"I was sort of wondering what it meant when I hear people talk about the horses aging out. Do the horses go for more money after 10?"

To answer the question above- Aging out is when a horse passes away at rollover which happens the last night of every month. That is when horses aged 17 or older could potentially pass away. Horses cannot breed after age 20 either.
