I avoid eras under 11 entirely except for my bootstrap herd. And I usually breed same eras together in 100-acre pastures because they're siblings and half siblings from the same line started at the same time, unless it's my mixed fantasy and I don't care anymore. But still, I only have a handful of horses under era 11 and I keep them separate.

ETA: You don't need to keep higher eras to make your herd better. I've been a stickler about era from the start just because. No real reason. But it doesn't matter except for the era leaderboards and now futurity.

I honestly never paid attention to Eras until the Furts came out. And then Ammit kinda explained how Eras work (but I think it still goes largely not understood). At this point, I think I'm too far along to really do anything in the Eras. I think there is probably more to be done with on the Furt Boards, rather than Era LBs, specially if you have long established lines.

Ammit, when you say the era 10 is more power than the era 0, how do you mean? A better breeder, or just better at the LB or s omething else?
