Chat rooms now have the option to restrict by genes. Anyone can put gene restrictions on their chat room, but you must be own whatever gene license you are restricting by. So anyone who owns Ice 9 can make a licensed Ice 9 chat room.
Members can only join chat rooms for which they own all the restricted by genes. The Axiom RBG chat room requires the owning of all 3 Axiom genes to join. But the Axiom red chat room only requires red to join.
If you were a member of the combined Axiom chat room, I purged that room. You will need to request to join again. If you were a member of the combined Ice 9 & 10, I deleted that chat room. The rooms are now split.
You are no longer required to be a member of the "official" chat room for that gene. You can join as many or as few gene restricted chat rooms as you like. (provided you own the right licenses).
There is no filtering on what horses can be put for sale or breeding in each chat room. . So you can put a cyan axiom for sale in a public chat room it will not stop you. BUT...
- The game now stops people from breeding to any horse with a closed gene they are not licensed for.
- It will also stop you from purchasing a horse with genes you are not licensed for, or purchasing genetic material from a horse with genes you are not licensed for.
All official chat rooms are now by request to join. If you have the genes for it please do ask to join.
There is also new chat rooms for those who own every ice, every rainbow riot, and the diamond club for those who own every licensed gene.

Gonna need some context lol. Which chats? Every single one there is? "Still"? Did you have an issue joining chat rooms before?

I'm sorry that was a horrible description lol. It's not been a good morning 2 hours late to work already ...

Anyways I mean that it won't let me join ice 14, ice 2 , watercolor, or machiatto. I meant still as I couldn't join them when I purchased the gene yet since you were making these changes

wont let me join any of the axiom chats says I dont have one or more of the required genes I own all 3 axiom colours and it says I have the licence for them on my page . hope that made sense

It says "Request to join this chat room.
This chat room is license restricted, you do not own one or more of the required gene licenses."

When I try to request to join a chat room, I get this: Request to join this chat room.
This chat room is license restricted, you do not own one or more of the required gene licenses.

For example, I tried to join the ice 9 and 10 as well as the axiom chat rooms. I have all of these genes.

Oh thank you for the combined chat rooms too, I never know where to sell some of my mixed gene ones! Love the diamond club lol

Will you be selling any licenses for any of the previous Closed genes in the future? I missed out on Ice 9 twice and I'm hoping there may be a way to get at least a license.

I have not decided if I will be doing foundationless licenses just yet.
