Go to the breeding tab of any horse you own an embryo from, mare or stallion, owned by you or not, and click on the "Implant" button. You can view the list on the "Adv. Breeding Lab" home page to see all your embryos.

Or as you could always implant an embryo using the Inhouse breeding button.

The breeding tab is still available and has the create embryo and implant embryo options even on horses that have passed.

OK , so instead of having a drop down menu of Mares to implant to , I need to keep swapping mares that haven't had a foal yet this season to implant them? Am trying to wrap my head around this change, sorry if I sound stupid, I am just a little backwrds sometimes when I need to figure new stuff out.

I liked it better when all my AI was in one location in the Lab. Not only did it make more sense thematically, but it also put everything I needed in one location. Thematically it makes sense to pull straws and eggs from the horses page directly, but once "pulled" they are no longer with the horse, but in cold storage.

Now there are extra steps added to the navigation, and AI breeding is spread out across horses pages, instead of in one location. I can create, and sell embryos on the Genetic Material page, but I have to go to the horses page to use them.

I do like that our straws, eggs, and embryos are now separated. But having the fancy drop downs and organization makes sense on the Genetic Material page, and not on the horses page.

OK , I went to this Mare, did a mass egg flush.. and now I see this message : Create an embryo using genetic material from this horse, and straws or eggs you already own.

Coming Soon. SO then I go to the Advanced Breeding Lab and create the embryo, and then back to the mares page to implant it?

I am updating as fast as I physically and emotionally am able right now. Kind of a lot going on.

annismyrph - Sorry, you got caught in the crossfire there. I know you were not trying to be pushy. It was a particularly stressful day yesterday and Cheshire's comments about how my work was thematically incorrect and worse while I am still clearly working on the updates pushed me over the edge. I am working on the updates as quickly as I can. I understand it is frustrating when things are in flux but this is a huge and super complex update and I can't just wave a wand and make it go faster. It's really gutting to get comments like that when I am actively fighting with the updated embryo creation on the horse page as we speak. If it was simple it would be done already. It's anything but simple to program. I am not just moving things. I am updating the internal logic and improving every step of the system as I go. It takes time in the chair, time which is really difficult to get right now because of the difficulties going on with our family


Sorry, you are finding it confusing. I think that is normal given how many things are changing and is in no way your fault. It is confusing when things are changing. I do think the system is/will be intuitive it is just different from what was and changing the workflow can be hard for people to get used to. If you still can't figure out how to implant an embryo (there are two ways to do so) please let me know and I will do my best to figure out where you are getting hung up and to help you out.

Sure thing. I'm sorry that came across so negatively for you, it wasn't my intention to cause you to feel that way. And I honestly didn't realize that part hadn't been finished yet, I thought the Genetic Material page was done and you were working on the horses breeding tab. I do appreciate the new organization. And since I'm not a game designer, my opinions are worth less than peanuts lol.

I've been using the new embryo implant method, although initially I found it a bit cumbersome as I kept going back to the genetic material page to click on a horse to bring up the embryo options. Now that I've used it a few times I find it SO much easier when implanting heaps at a time. So much quicker as it automatically brings up the paternal or maternal siblings for the next implant, I just use the next recip mare on my list, and by using by KT prefix and # I don't even change the name for the foal. Super easy, I really like it.
As far as finding the mare first, I just keep one mare or stallion page open while I create a heap of embryos, then use that to open the implant embryo option. Doesn't matter what horse it is as long as has an embryo, as the maternal/paternal sibling thing still comes up as it's just off your last embryo, not the horse's page you are on

I think my issue is going to be remembering which mares I pulled eggs from.. I pull at the end of the month , the mares that didnt get bred that month for Next months Breedings.. so I dont make the embroy's until the 2nd or 3rd of the following month, becuase I am not sure which stallion I am looking to work on. Also I noticed, once you do a mass flush, the create embroy and implant embroy boxes are gone from the mares' breeding page, unless that is sonething you are still working on ?

Sorry, that should have said once you do a mass flush of Eggs, the create embroy and implant embroy boxes are removed from the mares Breeding page.

You can't use a straw listed for public sale. That is why he is not listed.

I am not sure why the arrow is not working for you. Try a reboot?
