I only breed riding horses and warmbloods, no drafts or ponies at this time. My favorite genes are S+, DP, P+, splash M, belton, and gray reduction. I breed both red and black based horses. I love white markings as long as they don't overtake the entire coat, though I avoid white spotting and frame because of the lethality, even though I like the look. I love hom pangare since it was updated too. My favorite fantasy genes are chinchilla, void (especially with roan, rabicano, and TMJB), toner, and nexus. I don't care for ice except the open ones and ice 9, and I don't care for phantom genes except muddy puddles, which I love. I also avoid white spotting and frame in studs so I don't risk lethal crosses, in mares it's fine. Genes I avoid entirely are agouti promoter and splashes 1, 2, and 3.

I only breed even lines. Everything uneven in my barn becomes a show horse, unless it's high-gen for bootstrap. I have a few expro mares and Blue 2Gs sprinkled in my barn and I keep more around now to use for expro-line futurity straws. My standards for both are the same: 2Gs must be at least B/Red (sup to expro for studs), 3Gs at least A/Blue, 4Gs superior to parent or idealy *Star/*Gold, and 5Gs must be *Star/*Gold. Inbreeding doesn't bother me.

A new line I'm planning for era 16 is a true breeding DP sooty black pearl with gray and gray reduction. I could particularly use era 16 true breeding black perfect foundation mares to fill my pasture. DP, pearl, and gray would be a bonus. I'm not worried about gray reduction coming from the mares because it's expensive.

I'm also thinking of working on a lined chimera project for a challenge and could use mares and stallions. Genes don't matter as long as they don't have genes I avoid and are even and the right paper level for their generation.

I could also use a few more A/Blue 3G platinums for pasture. S+, DP, and gray/gray reduction would be a bonus. Sooty palomino and brown buckskin base coats would be ideal.

Except for my newest era lines, era isn't that important, but I do prefer eras 11 or newer. It matters even less for fantasy horses.

I have more older era foundations than I can use right now, so except for era 16, I'd prefer lined horses to foundations. Anything 2G on up can be useful in my barn.
