fiddlerAVR Dinner Yew 9S
I was given this lovely stud in the gift exchange. The trouble is, he’s in futurity. He has exactly 10 futurity locked offspring, and they’re all mine. I’m the one who bred to him and qualified him .
I’d like to sell 8 of them to someone, but I’d like to keep 2, which I bred with a fat pasture bonus.

Would anyone mind please, breeding a couple mares to him and/or buying his offspring from me?

I have no clue how futurity works but i don't mind buying some of the offspring for you! Would it help if I buy 4 of them? Or do I need to buy all 8 of them? And what price are you thinking of?

About the breeding part: can I breed any mare to him or do they need to be of the same Era and/or same level (gold papered)?

@MasterStableMS.. they can be of any Era equal to or greater than his.. soo any Era after 3 ( including Era 3 )
ETA: @Fiddler if you send me 10 straws I have mares for him.

I don't believe the 8 offspring will count now, if sold, since you were the breeder.
If that was your intentions.

I can try to get some mares pulled together this afternoon. :)

It’s a tricky problem that I apparently was not able to fix.
How can this be prevented in the future?

I think SeahorseFarms was right. Those particular foals you bred will never quality for the futurity now because you will always have owned the sire. New foals by other breeders have to be made.

Does it count if I take straws from him and breed them to eggs so I can end up with the 10 foals you need? And if so, how do I get straws? I only have a 7th generation mare and an uneven generation, though, so you might not want that. I only have 2 era 3's but I think I can breed higher eras to him?

As long as the eggs/mares are Era 3 or Higher, they will count towards the Futurities. And the Stallion is not evenly bred so it shouldn't matter if the foals are also uneven. @OopsDotCom
