Would we even seen anything on new foundations since it's a time sensitive gene?
-
It does have some impact and it is still nice to share what people are making. :)Post edited by Ammit at 2025-01-04 06:18:35Need to contact me? Read this first.

@CheshireFarms I'm making a point of looking through my older egg flush mares that have no offspring yet but lots of eggs saved. I've picked out a couple I'm thinking of adding it to, just haven't fully committed yet.
-
@cavalynn, how can you add this to eggs?
-
Not adding it to the eggs, but adding it to the mares that I have lots of eggs saved from. Then I can see what it looks like on an older horse without missing out on breeding seasons. And also just have a ton of breeding material to start the new line with right away.

@cavalynn, how can you add it to mares that already have been bred?
-
I haven't bred them yet because I haven't had time the past few months, but I've been flushing eggs every season for when I do have time again.
-
Egg flushing isn't technically breeding. Just like straw collection isn't breeding. When we flush a mare, it will say "foals this year" is 1, but that's just because she no longer can breed this season. Not that she actually had any foals.
Just like how you can breed a mare, and then sell the foal back to the game and still GMT her. No foal, no breeding. -
Oh wait you’re saying that you can genetically change them after you’veCollected Eggs?
Do you have to destroy the eggs? -
Nope, you don't have to destroy the eggs, that's the whole point. I often flush eggs every month from mares I might want to GMT in the future, just so they have those eggs saved, and then when the genes I want become available, I put them on the horse and have all those eggs to start using right away.Thanked by 1Fiddler
