Barn Page Updates - Upgrade the size of your barns!
-
Over the past two weeks, I have been working on some updates to the barn page. I am done with my first round of updates on this. I will be taking some time to work on some kit updates before tackling the next round.
-This first round saw the major clean-up of this page. Getting everything into tabs and tidying up the boxes.
-I added info to the testing tab to explain what the tests do and cost.
-A second select all toggle has been added to the bottom of your horse's table to make selecting easier.
-Auto show settings have moved into the showing tab so you can set your auto showing right from the barn. No more secondary pages.
-The new appearance tab keeps all your bulk visual update options in one place to make things easier to find. Please note there is currently a bug where the result text for this tab is appearing in the Horse Management tab. The results boxes are getting overhauled in round two so this will be fixed soon.
The biggest of the changes is found in the Stall Management tab. You can now enlarge your barns directly without having to buy a new one. Barns can be enlarged to 50, 100, 250, 500, 750 or 1000 stalls. The cost is a rounded 2 GTs per 25 stalls. And yes you can upgrade your older base 15 size barns to the new base 25 size system.
I noticed how difficult it was for those who needed to pay others to buy them barns to obtain anything of size because of the 10-mil. limit. This allows you to purchase your barn upgrades in parts over time, both because you can buy GTs via other players incrementally and also because you can walk your barn up in size incrementally. It also means players who will never be able to swing the lump sum cash for a 1000-stall barn can get there bit by bit over the years.
A few questions I know folks will ask:
-Upgrade in place is only available via Golden Tokens. You can still buy barns with IVs.
-I am not adding 500 or 750 size barns any other way. They can only be enlarged into.
-Once you upgrade a barn the origin becomes "Enlarged." Enlarged barns count as Cash Purchases and do not count against your 10k limit, so you can get your larger barns at a discount by buying them partly with IVs and then upgrading the rest with Golden Tokens.
-Yes upgrade in place for pastures is coming in the future.Post edited by Ammit at 2025-02-09 21:17:02Need to contact me? Read this first.

:x Thank you so much, Ammit. This is going to be awesome!Thanked by 1Ammit

I like this! Sometimes a barn of 250 is just too small while 1000 is too large (and expensive).
I look forward to trying it out,
Thanks Ammit!Thanked by 1Ammit -
Is there a way for us to merge smaller barns to make larger barns? Like 5 x 210 stall barns for a single 1000 barn?Bluegrass 272432 | Forest 54250 | Mesa 9056

Barns can not be merged. You can sell barns back to the game for IVs though.Need to contact me? Read this first.
