ISO Futurity Prospects
-
I have a ton of mares to breed for futurity but I'm also right in the middle of lambing season on my farm so if you have a stallion you want to swap straws with I will get them qualified and send you straws from whoever you want. I have like 5 or 6 new stallions this season as well as a few that are starting to climb the leaderboards if you want to be part of that. I'll be on once a day to breed and send straws.

@foxhntr26 well I’ll breed to fiddler skills because…. Ya know

I snagged a couple from Brindle Centaur. I hope your lambing goes well; ours is set to start in a couple of weeks.
-
@Aidendale I got 10 on the ground for Sea of Roses and sent you 10 straws
@ MasterStablesMS I got 10 on the ground for Can't Believe and sent you 10 from Twisted Jalapeno and Huzzah For Hooligans. Can you send me 10 from Coca Cola Lolly?
@Fiddler I can send you 10 from Fiddler Skills for obvious reasons lol. Can you send me 10 from Jimmy Cipolla?
@Sunshine Thank you! I'm usually done with lambing by the beginning of February but a lot of things happened last year that pushed us back. So far it's the hardest lambing season I've ever had, but everyone is alive at the moment. Still have 6 more I'm waiting on. What breed do you have? -
@foxhntr26 i will send you those
-
@Fiddler I have them on the ground and futurity locked. Let me know if you have any more stallions you want qualified. I have more mares.I love Warmbloods with lots of Sooty and DP. Dark Mahogany Bays, Liver Chestnuts, and Blacks make me super happy. I love horses with color, dfp1, nd1, gray, GP, and KP on the dark base. One day I would like to have a herd of high pt, well papered dark beauties. ID# 257941Thanked by 1Fiddler

Thank you @Foxhntr26 for the straws and already breeding to Can't Believe! I've got your straws and will make/implant them soon.
I've also sent you the straws from Coca Cola Lolly!
@Fiddler thank you so much for doing Wrath Of Ares for me! :) Happy to help you out too! Can you send me 10 straws from your boy Jimmy Cipolla so I can get him for you? My ID is 160524.HJ1 160524

@Foxhntr26, I'm sorry I have tendency to forget to check the forum. I have Scottish Blackface ewes with a couple of mules from them. This year we put a Clun Forest ram on them to see what we would get. What sort of woolly faced wonders do you have?
I hope your lambing season ended better than it began! Lambing always seems to cause both a lot of stress and a lot of joy. I always just seem to forget about the stress between lambings until it returns. -
@MasterStablesMS I have 10 foals on the ground for both of those studs and sent you 10 straws from the 2 stallions you asked for. Do you have any other stallion Era 12 or before that you want qualified or boosted? I have 14 mares left.
@Sunshine No wool for me. I breed hair sheep, specifically Katahdins. This is the first complicated lambing season I've had and I'm glad it's over. Everyone ended up being okay and are back out on pasture. I have a few ewes that need a little supplementation, but nothing serious. I love the field full of babies, but it is a lot of work. At least it happens in the Winter so it doesn't interfere with the horse side of things too much.I love Warmbloods with lots of Sooty and DP. Dark Mahogany Bays, Liver Chestnuts, and Blacks make me super happy. I love horses with color, dfp1, nd1, gray, GP, and KP on the dark base. One day I would like to have a herd of high pt, well papered dark beauties. ID# 257941Thanked by 1MasterStablesMS -
Thank you Foxhntr26!
I've put 10 foals on the ground for your two boys as well :)
I'd love to get more foals to more studs but unfortunately I don't have the funds to do any more futurity breedings. So this is it for this season!
Thank you for helping me out and doing a straw swap with your gorgeous boys!HJ1 160524

@Foxhntr26, I love the colors the Katahdin comes in. I can imagine that not dealing wool is much easier than dealing with it! I always get a little nervous when it warms up too early in the spring when they have a full winter coat on. I'm glad everything worked out well! Ours have decided they want to hold out a little longer, but I'm not sure how long they can, given the size they are now.
