First the updates

Kit Matrix This applies to all the newly updated sabino and white spotting genes. Before the sire's KIT allele was always more dominant because it loaded first. (Just a side effect of the software we use) It will now load the dam or sire allele first based on the image seed. Getting a new seed can swap which gene is dominant.

This only applies to horses with more than one unique kit matrix mutation. For example W8/SB1. W8/- and W8/W8 horses have no change. The change in most cases won't be huge but can impact the look.

Here is an example of the same horse with the same genetics just different load order.


Roan Update
I few players have mentioned that they were missing a less white version of roan. I checked the code and it appears it was always putting at least level 2 roan on and never level 1. I have updated this so now roan comes in a shade darker than it was generating.

Powder White

Introducing Powder White! Powder White is a is a hypothetical mutation located near but not directly on KIT (like tobiano). It causes white leg and face markings along with powdery white markings along the top line. Like roan, tobiano, KitM, and other "near Kit" mutations it does not interact with any of the sabino/w series genes. It becomes larger with increased white factor and the markings become denser when homozygous but never cover the whole horse. It has zero impact on lethality.








It was created with KP breeders in mind to give you a gene you can breed in for a sabino-like look without risking all white horses.

It does not interact with any sabino/white spotting genes. Here is a SB1/PW example.
