    I ve noticed that some of my 9g horses are placing in the "gold" Division and some of them are in the "platinum" division and am confused as to why that is happening?

    For Example :
    This one is in the "Gold" : image

    And this one is in "Platinum" : image
    LG9 Vision 19177316

    As I understand it, it's not based on their Generation exactly. It's based on the potential range for those generations in the category. You have one that is 12.90 pt and another that is 13.20. Some where Ammit posted a list of break downs. But I think there is still hidden numbers at play.

    Gold Circuit -For horses of 4th to 6th gen levels of ability (Roughly 11.5 to 13.2 aka roughly *star and low **star)

    Platinum Circuit- Everything at roughly cap quality at above."


    Based on that I'm assuming your 13.2 is around cap quality, so they bump into Platinum.

    It's not based on generation at all. It's based on their inherent showing ability. The horses in platinum are better than those in gold. It's not based on PT but in general higher PT horses will be in higher circuits.

    Notice the gold circuit horse also has a worse quality dam than the platinum circuit horse.
