How do i breed my horses? Do they have to be of certain age?

Hi, mares must be 4 years old and can only be bred via live cover once per season. Stallions must be 3 years old to breed.

Either the stallion or the mare must be put up for public stud or brood in order to breed. If you put a stud price on the stallion and don't want to share him, then make his price 0hb once you're done.

How do you put them up for stud or public brood?

At the top of their page, under "Control Panel". If you click on that tab and they are old enough to breed then you will see a box to enter a breeding price. It is next to the sale price box. If it is a mare and has already been bred this year there will be no box there.
